Popular Baby Names

Well as always I’ve seen a massive selection of names coming through but there’s definitely some firm favourites. I can still see Jack, Harry and Oliver high up in the popularity stakes for boys with Ethan creeping in there too. As for the girls Sophie, Amelia and Sophia seem to be the most reoccurring names I make at the moment.

Some of the recent more unusual names to mention are Evan for the boys and Esme for the girls.

I read that Pippa would be coming through as a popular girls name following the royal wedding but I’m yet to see it. Speaking of which, while Harry is number one boys name in the UK at the moment, amazingly it’s way down at number 709 in the US name charts. Will we see it rapidly move up following the wedding, Olympics coverage and let’s not forget the Vegas pics?! We’ll see.
